my piña colada bubble tea was very tasty.
The Mulberry jasmine iced tea is delicious and the raspberry GF scone is moist and great served warm. The TEAm is always friendly and helpful. Short and Stout offers a large selection of teas. The staff is well trained to make suggestions if you can’t decide.
UPDATE: Joyce contacted me and made this situation right. Very happy with he resolution and her taking the time to explain the situation. SO disappointed today. We normally love this place. We just got the new shaved ice the other day and it was incredible. We came back today because we raved about it to my brother. Got three of them and two mochi (nearly $30). Kara, thank you for bringing this up to my attention. I just troubleshot this with the staff and found out where the problem was. You’re right, the ice was chunkier than what I made for you on Sunday. Apparently, the ice machine was set to the wrong setting. A TEAm Member accidentally changed the dial and since we only put out this menu item on Sunday, the girl who made your order didn’t have enough experience to recognize what went wrong. My daughter loves bubble tea and has been searching to find a place as good as the one she found in Lake Placid last summer. She was so happy with what she had today! Well worth the 45 min drive from Johnstown! We will be back for sure. Excellent service when we went today. Very clean, and awesome to see the other customers practicing social distance measures.

Their staff and friendly service is by far the best. it can be a little intimidating to choose from their wide selection of teas, lattes, and other handcrafted beverages but their very knowledgeable and friendly staff make it easy by making recommendations or suggestions. Both the Crossgates location and their shop on Western Avenue are amazing. And their tea is truly divine! I've had their traditional teas both iced and hot as well as their handcrafted beverages. All very delicious and perfect every time.
