Nasty Management, Lousy Food When I presented an entertainment coupon and met all the coupon requirements, they still tried to find knit picky excuses that were not listed on the coupon to try to get out of honoring coupon. I had to threaten to return the take out food before they gave in. And they still were nasty. And then the pastrami was full of grissel and fat. The french fries were cold, greasy, and limp. Love This Place! Great matzo ball soup, wonderful deli meats (to the other reviewer, you can ask for "lean" to go without the fat.), great kasha. The staff is alright, and the new renovations after the fire has the restaurant looking fresh and clean. Love, love, love this deli.
Not worth the trip This restaurant is now closed for renovations after a fire. The food was not very good before the fire and hopefully will improve when they reopen. The place always seemed dirty. The bathroom wallpaper was literally falling off the walls.
good food We took my visiting relatives here. There was plenty of food in each portion. Definitely not healthy cuisine - lots of fat in everything. But the service was nice and we enjoyed it.
Oy ya yoy The Short Hills deli is one to stay away from. Their deli meats are fair and tend to have a ton of fat on them. I would prefer a WaWa sandwich before I went back here. The place is dusty and their staff varies on pleasantness. The only time I would go back here, would be for breakfast. Consider this place a "go to if I haveta."
rg this is one of my favorite restaurants...the deli sandwiches are great and can't wait for them to reopen after the fire...i miss them!...the blini, the corned beef, that great cabbage soup...yun good!

I highly recommend eating here. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The people at the deli counter were not as fast or friendly as my server, but got my order correct. The management could use some improvement .. but overall I give this restaurant a good review.
