This was the best apartment I lived in and I only moved out because I was forced into a divorce I didn't want and my husband left me, pregnant, and with our 3 year old son, so I had to move back closer to family. The three bedroom unit was like the size of a house and was truly wonderful to live in. That kitchen was amazing. Had so much cabinet space I got spoiled and downgrading to a small kitchen again was such a bummer. The soundproofing in that place is also amazing. Two kids on scooters came from here over to sky rock apartments next door at 5:00 today and broke a bunch of bottles in the parking lot.
The Shores is a great place to live! I've been here for 2 years, and just renewed my lease. It's beautiful, it's safe, and it's quiet most of the time. (The walls are very sturdy, and I rarely hear any noise from my neighbors.) The staff is excellent and has been the same the whole time I've been here. Repairs are done in a very timely manner, and the repair people and office staff are all very friendly and efficient. Love The Shores! Staff is excellent! They are great at community events and keeping the campus so nice and apts maintained. I have lived in apts most of my life and this place is the tops for me. The 30min drive to Boulder or Lafayette has turned into a welcome, meditative or productive time.
What a beautiful place to live! We lived here for over three years, moved away for a bit but decided to come back. Being so close to McIntosh Lake and the mountains is perfect for us. The community is very dog friendly, too! The units are a bit outdated but very well kept. The maintenance team and leasing office are beyond helpful and kind! We're glad to be back!
