From my experience of watching family interactions with this counseling center, they help to alienate parents. My fiancé for years has been taking his daughter for years here- the only one taking her even on her mom’s parenting time- only to be alienated by Joanne Dennison from his daughter. It is in my opinion that this office is misandric and enables parental alienation Whit holding docs and bills and threatening legal action on bills less than 30 days I never received This is after years of trying to speak with the counselor Dennison and her emails will show indifference and deflection to dads concerns Very sad I was the one who brought the child and. The owner of the practice is charging medicaid patients for appointments that they're never being given the opportunity to go to. Then when asking about appointments booked, being told you only get seen every 3 weeks when there's one every week. Fraudulent and will be reporting her to Michigan LARA. PLEASE BEWARE if you have insurance, they could be doing this and then gaslighting you like they did me. My insurance covered 3 appointments and I've been seen maybe a total of 30 minutes between 2 of them.
I had two appointments with counselor EM who was fine. Neither she nor the practice ever gave me contact information for her. No phone number or email. Very hard to get in contact with an actual person there let alone your counselor. At our last appointment she told me she was going to follow up with me about getting a permanent schedule set at which point I have been ghosted. Not a great feeling when you are obviously already struggling with something.
