This is a nice place in a great location. The apartment complex is well kept at a great value and management is great. Whenever we need maintenance or have any questions, they've taken care of it in a reasonable amount of time. The complex is also well maintained and in good condition, the pool and trimmings are well kept, and they even provide free wireless internet outside. This is easily the best place I've lived so far in Mountain View, it's at a great location and is a great overall value. Highly recommended.

This apt. complex, Shoreline Village Apts. seems at first look to be a bargain. It is relatively affordable for Mountain View, CA., close to everything and has decent square footage. However, there are some serious problems with the way management runs their operation. I have been there less than one year and they are raising my rent by 4% out of the blue. I hear all Hammack Management properties are run similarly. They do not respond to repair requests, even in the case of an emergency. They allow themselves into your apartment monthly for inspections without prior notice. They tear up parking lots without notice, and do not care if you cannot get your car out to go to work. They change locks on all apartment doors without notice and expect you to be able to pick up new keys during a two-hour window at their convenience.
