About this business
Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

It was absolutely amazing. We had a great time and our tour guide Ben did a fantastic job explaining what we were seeing and was super funny! Good times!

Wonderful experience with spectacular views. This really a special part of our trip to Chicago. Our guide, Wendy, was so kind and extremely knowledgable. I'm only sorry that we didn't have cash to tip her. It was sweltering and the sun was blazing, but she was genuinely enthusiastic the entire time and made this a great time.
I did the water taxi from Museum Campus to Navy Pier. I've wanted to go on the water taxi for ages, and some part of me feels fulfilled now. This was a wonderful experience and I hope to do it again soon, or maybe try one of your other boat rides.
I took the Architecture Tour on Wednesday morning (9/20/17) with Ben! Ben made it an entertaining and educational trip! Would highly recommend this tour to everyone, whether visiting from out of town or native Chicagoan like me!
