RecommendedDr. Goebel did an awesome job. Zero pain to go with the root canal I had done today. I would highly recommend him for anyone else in need of a root canal.
I was directed by Contemporary dentistry of Groton to see Dr. Goebel for a possible root canal. I was seen that day and schedule the next day for the root canal $1180.00 my share. I cancel the visit and called my dental insurance about coverage. That's when I got educated on "in network" and "percentage covered". No one from any office at anytime talk to me about (out of insurance network). Ten day later I saw an "in network" dentist. He saw the tooth couldn't be saved and pulled it. It would be preferable to know the cost of a procedure vs. what your insurance will pay for, and knowing what you will be paying out of pocket before doing all the work. After the procedure, the receptionist gave me an "estimate" of what to pay out of pocket today, but I told her I would wait until the final bill arrived in the mail after insurance settled. The actual bill was over $50 less that what the receptionist asked me to pay. Additionally, while the work done was very professional and the staff was certainly nice, I ... read more

I was in an extreme amount of pain over the weekend. I went to my dentist first thing on Monday morning and I was referred to what my dentist referred to as "the experts". They called and they were able to get me in at noon that day. They definitely are the experts!! The staff was very understanding of how much pain I was in and despite them already having a full day and sneaking me in last minute, they got me in right away.
