Just a warning about this location: I booked a stay but then had a change of plans so I tried canceling about a month in advance. I could not find up to date contact information ANYWHERE. The phone number listed is disconnected, no one responded to my emails, I even attempted sending letter via USPS to try and cancel my reservation so that I don’t get charged and they can rebook their room. We went up there in mid-october for my husband's birthday. And stayed 3 nights. I believe I cannot say enough good things about this place. There was only one downside and that the bathroom was really tiny. Even the spot where the toilet was was not the roomiest place. For somebody with a big butt like mine. But everything else was wonderful.And we look forward to booking and staying there again in the future
I booked this place on Jan 14th 2026 and received the confirmation, but since then have not been able to get a hold of the staff to double confirm our reservation. The phone number is disconnected and got no response from the email I sent to them 4 days ago. I show here on google from more recent reviews that people are experiencing the same thing. This place is also listed for sale on a couple of websites when you plug it into AI.
Made a reservation and then had to cancel it a few days later which was still 4 days before arrival. I tried calling the number listed and it was not a working number. I also sent an email and got no response. I was still charged for the one night stay that tried to cancel.
Great lighting in this little cottage. That makes a big difference to have cozy lighting. WiFi works well. Cozy electric heater/virtual fireplace. Full kitchen and functional and clean private bathroom. Good value!
