This place claims to be “for low income” but the owner has some strange business practices. It’s currently the middle of open enrollment for Medicare and many things change from plan to plan year to year. I recently changed my insurance in an attempt to lower my total monthly costs and there was a problem with billing and my therapist informed me that she could no longer see me and that it’s not patient abandonment if there’s an issue with insurance. I love certain things about Shorehaven and really dislike others. The AODA groups are great, you are given many chances. Most of the therapists are pretty great too with keeping your info confidential, but not a few of them like Rosie and Jessica. The receptionists are all great too. Do not see Dr. Bleak (pronounced Blake). I met her 1 time and every month after that my appointment was over a computer monitor like Skype and she didn't really pay good attention to me, she always seemed preoccupied and prescribed me weird bi-p... read more
