I have been a patient for awhile now and the only problem I have is when I go for a regular office visit they try to charge the specialist rate which is annoying and I’m usually seeing a Nurse Practitioner.
I have no problem here when Dr.Schaefer is in office but when she’s NOT there, not good. Completely outraged. Waited an hour in the waiting room and an hour and a half in the exam room to see a doctor. Who wants to sit around not feeling well for 2 and a half hours! I could’ve went to urgent care and been seen and diagnosed faster. I left with NO medication. Dr.DiValentino told me to take vitamins. Incompetent staff when you call. Since this office transferred over to Langone they are horrible! Definitely looking for a new place!!!!! And you cant call doctors after hours because the number the recording gives you doesn't work!!!! It's only 2:15 pm and the office says on the recording they are closed when they are not suppose to be according to their hours posted
I’ve been a patient of Doctor Yen’s for many years. I have only wonderful things to say about him. He is professional and caring. The office staff is also excellent.
