Reasonable budget choice w GREAT LOCATION, BUT NOISY ! our ocean room was bombarded with nonstop music VIBRATING YHE ENTIRE BED until 1130 am Friday night and 1245 am Saturday night :(. Avoid !
This was our first time staying at this hotel and our room, 118, was in a tiny alcove that juts out above Ocean Waves and Telescope Pictures. The room was tiny, but we enjoyed the 2 windows that looked out over the boardwalk and beach. The windows open all the way and we had wonderful weather so the windows stayed open. The bed was practically against the windows so we had a bedside view. Lol. There water pressure was horrible. My hair is so thick that I knew I couldn’t wash it bc I’d never get the shampoo or conditioner out... read more
Had a recent quick visit at the Shoreham Hotel. Excellent location on the boardwalk. Great bar/restaurant below. (Shenanigans). Hotel staff was outstanding..very friendly and accommodating. Only negative is the t-shirt shop also below the hotel... they blare music from 8am until well after midnite. We had room 118 and it was unbearable. Next morning, Elisha at front desk went Above and Beyond to switch our room. She made it happen and gave us a noise-free larger room on the 3rd floor. She was awesome. Trash. Spend your money elsewhere. This place is terrible. Serious life safety issues. No elevator, no fire sprinklers, smoke alarm is hanging from the ceiling and no exhaust fan in the restroom. Discussion place. The floors are not even level. I feel like I'm on a boat. This is a flop house for party goers on a budget.
