Gave him my corvette for a tune, also needed a ecu. He wanted the money before it was even done, took him a month when it was only supposed to be a week. Gave him 2k and my wires are a rats nest. Tune is terrible. I told him I wanted to see it on the dyno he said ok then never told me when he was putting it on the dyno he just sent me a dyno sheet and said it was done. If you’re thinking of taking your car here…. DONT!! Sam the owner and sole technician at Shore tuned had my car for nearly 2 years and I had to tow the car to another shop to finish the work. Sam promised me on many occasions he was working on it and it was almost done. In total I have paid Sam $7,784.93 and still have a car that can’t be driven. Scammed for HPTUNER. Merchant said he would refund for the $499.99 amount never refunded. Told me to "Your more then welcome to charge back that portion of the invoice". Has yet to comply with my financial institution. He told my financial institution that he refunded and bank could not verify that was the case. As emailed to the company he if he does not comply this will be brought up to higher authorities in this matter.
Scammed me out of $700. This is not a legitimate business, avoid at all costs. To start, he had me CASHAPP his girlfriend the money for a dyno tune, which should have been red flag number 1. He kept my truck for multiple extra days. When I picked up my truck he told me he 'didn't have a dyno sheet for me but would text me a screenshot of one'.
