We had a great experience renting Kayaks from Shore Thing Rentals! Staff are very friendly and will work with your group to maximize fun! Great area to experience the water - alot to see and explore. Will go again and recommend to others.
Yes this is my mom’s shop. Yes, I’m also a customer. No, I’m (mostly) not biased when I say the 5 stars are well-deserved. I’ve kayaked and paddle boarded, as well as done larger groups with Shore Thing. Every time, we’ve had a blast! There is a lot of inventory and everyone is able to get a piece of equipment that’s right for them. It’s a great small business and an awesome outdoor activity.
Michelle really knows how to make the best experiences- she curated a phenomenal outing with my bachelorette party and it was divine! A beautiful sunset kayak and then a lovely wind down with some nice non alcoholic drinks on the patio over looking the marina. This is a whole experience and a half. I’ll happily come here from the south shore of Long Island anytime!
Michelle was soo good to us!!! We’re new in town and looked for an activity to have some quick fun and she absolutely exceeded our expectations.she made the whole process smooth and explained in detail what where able to do!!! I can confidently recommend to anyone reading this!!!!!
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Michele was incredible — genuinely one of the nicest, most helpful people you could ask for. She made the entire kayak rental process effortless, was extremely accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.
