I would like to talk about a matter of personal safety that happened this weekend.... I went kayaking with my wife in the St. Michaels area. The rental period was for 2 hours. After about an hour of kayaking, we decided to go back to where we departed from. We soon realized we were going the wrong way. A 2-hour kayaking rental quickly turned into 3.5 hours of kayaking. Very friendly and helpful! We had a great time!
My husband and I were visiting St. Michaels from out of state and our bike lock accidentally jammed, leaving our bikes locked to a pole and us stranded. After trying the police dept and fire station for help, with no such luck, we stopped by Pedal and Paddle. The store owner and son were very helpful and even let us borrow their personal tools to sever our bike lock. We bought a new lock from their store and although that was our only purchase, we could tell Pedal and Paddle is a greatly run business.
My wife and our two adult children rented four kayaks from Shore Pedal & Paddle and it was a very enjoyable experience. I booked online to reserve four kayaks and we arrived at the shop about 15 minutes before launch where we got some directions for our two hour trip to some islands in the nearby Creek and then it was off to the nearby launch where someone helped us on our way to explore the local waters. Rented some bikes - got some great advice on where go go by the water and where there weren’t as many cars. Had a great time! Really reasonable pricing!
David has my paddleboard so I can still get out to the BIG SURF through the breaks
Dave and the staff are incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable! Spend the day paddling around St Micheals and taking in the beauty of the area.
