I had a very disappointing experience during an EMG of the brain at Shore Neurology. The technician did not introduce herself, gave only a very quick explanation of the test, and immediately began placing electrodes without checking in on my comfort. During the procedure, I experienced significant head pain and was visibly upset, with tears in my eyes. Complete waste of time. Waited months for the 1st appointment that they canceled after I sat in the waiting room for an hour. Waited months for the 2nd appointment only to have them tell me they don't treat people who were in accidents because the doctor doesn't want to risk being called as a witness. If this was a criteria, then why wouldn't you screen patients? Two trips out here and months wasted.
