I was Dr. Shores patient in 1982 for approx 1 year. When I was 18 years old. My issue was alcohol addiction I have been clean and sober for the past 38 years, and I highly recommend his services.
Doctor very invalidating and cold. Waste of time and money.
Does not return pages, messages left are answered late. Incorrect medicine ordered. Forgets to provide a receipt. As difficult as it is to find a psychiatrist, skip this one and try elsewhere.
Dr. Shore failed to respond to me for weeks when I had medical difficulties relating to medications. He was inattentive and treats patients like charity cases.
Incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know you personally. Listens to all concerns and follows up diligently. I have recommended him to others looking for referrals as well.
After working with two psychiatrists in the past Dr. Shore was a life saver. During my intake he spent almost double the amount of time with me then was scheduled. He diagnosed me correctly unlike the doctors in the past. He is available by phone whenever there is a crisis. He almost always goes over on time during our appointments but does not charge extra. I am a pharmacist and he always takes my opinion into consideration when prescribing anything.
