As I sit and read the reviews here, I find it very surprising to learn of people’s bad experiences and negative reviews for Shore’s emergency room. I had an allergic reaction that needed immediate attention. I chose Shore Medical Center at the suggestion of a coworker. Being injured in an accident on vacation is bad enough but then having to go to the ER here. Nightmare! I have worked in healthcare for 30+ years, this place needs a major overhaul. Sat in waiting room listening to the “triage nurses” talking about their plans on the weekend while I’m visibly hurt was the first issue. Then being placed in a triage area-no privacy, no acknowledgment that I was even there. Had an X-ray, the tech didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, complaining out loud the machine was giving her issue... read more
