That's amazing place. :)
so we had dinner on the lake outside and I asked if they made their own whipped cream for dessert. The supervisor, max, said he was pretty sure they did so I bet him a dollar. shortly after, our waitress informed us they did not make the whipped cream and max brought me the dollar since he'd lost the bet. Then he goes in the kitchen and makes whipped cream HIMSELF and brings it out. Such a great gesture. He really didn't know how much I love fresh whipped cream because it made my vacation. So many special things about the Shore Lodge.... There are the obvious, all the lake view rooms and lakeside dining, the well kept beach and docks, the well appointed lobby and meeting rooms. And there are the fun surprises like arranging for a movie for your party in the theater or jumping on the trampoline in the lake. As locals, we spend a lot of time in the restaurants, but my mom threw a small dinner party for the grandkids and had a lakeside sleepover with them last year. So much fun! Had a wonderful 17th anniversary stay. Dinner at the Narrows was delicious. Thank you to Patricia Johnson for the terrific service at the front desk and making our stay memorable.

Best hotel in Idaho. We haven't stayed in a cooler place since our honeymoon. Great food and music at the Narrows too.
We've only been here one day so far and we can't wait for the rest of our stay! What great service at the bar and such tasty food! Chris is an amazing bartender with superb service and such tasty drinks! We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
