I share the sentiments of reviewer Gordo Weitzel. I bought an XLR14 tilt in space power chair in May 2025. $13,364. Not usable for any handicapped person. Shoprider and American Quality Healthcare, manufacturer and seller, refused to give a refund. Months of lies, denial, deception and a Demand letter, precursor to a lawsuit for Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and they did not budge to give a full refund for the piece of junk they sold. I am 87. Yet another Complaint: The only way I can “fight back” is on this platform [Google Reviews]; so please bear with me. I bought a power wheelchair in January, 2025 ... after 2 months an arm rest split, and after 7 months the stitching in the seat gave out. I made a claim under its warranty and ShopRider replied “that it’s from normal wear and tear” and they would NOT cover the poor material in spite of the poor quality materials used and the poor workmanship - stitching. “I have used Shop Rider scooters for the last 20 or so years ... and they have been reliable. But in the last 5 years or so, their products have been poorly built and unreliable. I have used a model P424M power wheelchair for the last 3 or so years. In the first year I had to get my roll of duct tape out and use it to keep the rubber/vinyl arms from falling apart.
