Stopped by as we were traveling based on internet search. This was an excellent choice because the food was absolutely delicious (the vegetable bowl and collard greens and my honey had the cat fish meal)! The environment was clean (including the rest-room) and we met the owner who was so warm and friendly. Such a sweet and exemplary Spirit in this place! This will definitely be our Topeka, KS dining spot for all future visits.
I'm visiting from out of town and ordered 100 pieces of fried chicken from this restaurant for a church event in Topeka. My overall experience was fantastic. Brandon was very helpful throughout the process. The chicken was really delicious—juicy, well-seasoned, and fresh. I wish I had taken a picture before serving, but they were all quickly eaten after I set them down. The price was reasonable I highly recommend it.
Decent food, I had the chicken wings and my partner had thr burger. Both were good, especially the chicken! Staff are nice, hospitable and professional.
