I cant believe this, Shop-Vac no longer sells replacement motors, so now when you vac goes, throw it in the trash I guess. Tech guy told me they were sold to a Chinese company. So much for good, durable American made stuff.
purchased 14 gallon 5.5 hp shop vac. absolute cheap garbage. washers for the wheels weren't in the box - had to wait 7-10 days for these. Hose support pieces so flimsy that one tab broke with installation - glued that rather than wait another 7-10 days for part... and finally the hose wouldn't thread onto the canister - thank goodness lowes accepting this return. don't waste your money or time on this flimsy, cheap garbage.
