I liked my Citadel 1911 FSP (5"), and wanted a 3.5" -- the Rock Island Armory looked good, and the RIA51416 standard bare bones was out of stock. The Shootist ordered it, and, after the normal 10-day wait, opened early for me to pick up to allow me to go to the range to qualify it for my CCW. Love the gun (they got about another 20 in, and sold down to one left, in about 20 days). Great shop, great staff, great prices -- what's not to like?

I have dealt with these gentlemen for years. Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Great selection of long guns, handguns and ammunition. The Shootist is my go-to store in Southern California.
