I personally work in healthcare. This doctor doesn't listen to patient concerns which can be detrimental and it end up being quite concernining for medical needs and quite frankly asstounding. First impressions were fine but that's not the important factor for a pediatrician. We had to switch doctors to receive the proper care and thank goodness we did. There were many other negative reviews but they ended up being deleted when the Dr moved offices because as you can see, there's only a few reviews here. This speaks volumes.... read more

Dr Shook was my child's doctor for almost 6 years. When he was a baby we brought up a number of concerns which were dismissed as normal. He wouldn't change my son's formula because he believed he should stay on the one he left the hospital with even though my son was in a lot of distress. I ended up getting a container of another brand my son did much better on but wic wouldn't cover it and it was pricey. He did send my son to speech therapy when my son was 2 but we had other concerns which were dismissed. He's a dr so I tho... read more
