I went on a luncheon with my fellow sisters from my church I have never been to Shoney’s so they were very knowledgeable about the restaurant and insured me that My food was going to be good and very satisfying when we entered the restaurant we were greeted, sat and waited on by a very nice lady. She was able to get our drinks and assist us With any questions we had about the food on the bar she told us we can make endless trips to the food bar, and they had dessert as well. Very good and tasty food from the bar. Very hot and fresh. Salad Bar was delish. It was breakfast on one side of bar and dinner on the other. Waitress was so good. Made sure our drinks were full. I love this place will be back for sure.
Why is this place still open? The only thing decent was the service; I would've given service 4 stars but the restrooms (both of them) smelled like sour mop water. We found a hair in our food too. Complete turn off, gross. Will not be returning.
Horrible! Out of the 5 of us dining there wasn’t even 5 edible items on the buffet. The fish and chicken was the only thing worth eating. The mashed potatoes had a weird consistency the Mac and cheese had no flavor. The corn muffins were dry. The fried potatoes were just awful. The mystery cheesy rice my niece gagged on. The salad bar was definitely not fresh with mushy cucumbers and tomatoes.
