Being a patient of Dr. Banegas I find her to be very thorough and knowledgeable in my treatment with her medical specialty. She is always open to questions and has a great patient demeanor while making sure you understand what treatment options and medical concerns you need to understand as a patient. Dr. Banegas's office staff is very professional. Easy to make an appointment. She has a complete setup to check your circulation with a very competent technician. Dr. Banegas listens to your problems and goes over test results with you. She values your opinion while advising you on different options. A very pleasant experience. Dr Banegas is a fantastic surgeon. She did a carotid artery surgery on my neck and not even a scar. And it was a difficult artery to do. She is not only a great surgeon but very knowledgeable, thorough and passionate doctor that I go to. Highly recommend her. And her staff is wonderful as well.
I went through several months of waiting to get a TCAR procedure done not because of Shonda's office but because of BCBSTX. The surgery went smoothly and Shonda has great bedside manner before and after surgery. She is very thorough and professional. I would recommend her and the less invasive procedure to anyone who gets a scan done and finds out that they have blockage issues.
