THIS IS THE BEST Japanese Steakhouse in Macomb & Oakland Counties. Don't be fooled by thinking other Shogun's in the area are as good because they aren't - especially the non-affiliated/related one in Rochester on Livernois - that place is disgusting. The chefs and wait staff are 2nd to none, and their food and service is always top notch no matter what time or day you go. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM!!!! Thank you!

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday at Shogun Japanese Steak House in Sterling Heights on Van Dyke and the chef dropped the knife on the floor and refused to get a new one. Myself and another guest at the table are sitting there yelling "No, get a new knife!" He ignored or plea and continued to cook and serve the food. #Neveragain
Talented Hibachi chef, Peter, worked his magic on the hibachi grill on #13, #14, #15, #16 and #17. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite.
