Third Time ... No Charm (Service Not Worth Gratuity) We tried Shogun again tonight; third visit, service still stinks. Not only did our party of 3 couples wait over 10 minutes to have our server take our drink order, but we had to continually ask the chef to holler "help" so our server would return for refills! Rude and do not honor they own coupon I found and ebay aution from restaurant.com where you can bid the $25 certificate for this restaurant. The Certificate should last for 1 year they day the ticket issued. Few months later, we went to the restaurant at lunch time, the restaurant did not want to honer the certificate. He claimed that the ticket is only valid for dinner at the steakhouse but it didn't not mention anywhere in the certificate and not even and small disclousure.. we spend 20 minutes arguing with the honor. and ... read more
RecommendedGreat food! Give you noodles too and shrimp appetizer with every meal. This was our first time to ShoGun and were very pleased. Our chef was great too. He was really funny and interactive. Love it that this restaurant still throws you the shrimp. Be hungry as they give you lots of food with your order. Awesome sever very attentive too and kept our drinks refilled. Chef very polite and asked multiple times if everything was good or if there was anything else he could do for us. Definitely a new favorite for our large group.
Fun chefs and large portions. Good food. I read the one star reviews and am glad those folks won’t be dining next to me next time I visit and bring new people.
It was great the chef made great conversation and entertained us so much this is definitely a great place to go out and eat for family fun!
The food was bland. The chef at the grill only cooked with no conversation or entertainment. $7.15 for one watery Mai Tai and I can't believe they charge extra for fried rice when he makes it right there with everything else. My friends ordered steamed since they didn't want to pay extra for fried and the waitress didn't bring it until right before the check (after being asked twice). Sushi was only 6 pieces instead of 8. There are a lot better places to go for exceptional food that aren't nearly as high priced as this place... read more
