Just left this place 5 minutes ago. Waitress took my wife's drink order and hesitated with my drink order. We told her we're ready to order and she proceeded to take my wife's food order and collected 2 menus and left without asking me for my order.
Me and my partner used to go to shoguns a few times a month. We go there to get an order of fried rice at the most. Food standards feel like they have fallen. Its obvious they cant keep regular staff. It doesnt feel the same anymore at this place. Its sad I feel the need to drive 30 mins to get hibachi in rockwall. This was our first visit to Shogun in Greenville Texas. The restaurant is very clean and pleasant. Dim lit so that it's more relaxing lunch experience. The waiter was busy so it did take a little bit to take our order, but he was very attentive and made sure our experience was great. The miso soup was a little different than we are accustom to , it tasted very heavy of black pepper. Gluten allergy friends, 1st off let me say..”this place has zero gluten free knowledge or options!” Our group of 8 went last night for my son’s 8th birthday. The kids loved the show and everyone was friendly. Thank you Luis for giving us a great hibachi show. Sarah, our hostess greeted me and my gluten free questions with open arms as soon as I arrived.
