Saw Dawn Shogren for a few months. Ended up getting Covid the day before an appointment. It was my first time getting Covid and it hit me hard. Let her know as soon as I took a test and saw it was positive. She told me she would send me a virtual meeting link to do an appointment and if I didn’t show she would charge me a cancellation fee of $280. I didn’t show. I've been to roughly a dozen mental health practitioners in the last 6 years, and I can unequivocally say that Dr. Shogren is the best, most competent and most intelligent doctor that I have yet to come across. Even now, although I'm no longer her patient, I would urge anyone with moderate to severe mental health issues to make an effort to see her. I, myself, would drive nearly 100 miles every month when I was seeing her, simply because she is the best around. She can help. I guarantee it. :)

I have seen Dr Shogren off and on (as needed) over many years. She is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen. I haven't seen her for a couple of years, but should the need arise, I will definitely go back to see her again.

I have major problems sleeping and I'm exhausted 24/7 because I have a Traumatic Brain Injury. It's NOT fun having NO energy! Dr. Shogren prescribes me Adderall but it's gotten to the point that the dose I'm taking doesn't work anymore, but Dr. Shogren won't give me a bigger dose because she says I don't weigh enough to take more so once again I'm back to being miserable! Why can't someone just find a solution for a TBI and figure out how to fix it!? All I want is to not have to be tired! :(
