I am reaching out as a very dissatisfied previous customer of Shoff-Darby. We had our policy cancelled by Don Burns as he was in prison, and had to urgently seek alternative insurance. Now we are getting collection letters on a policy we don't have. I called Selective Insurance and they show the policy as active. I have been emailing Marissa Hudson for 2 months and have not had a call back or response. Please reach out with a resolution with this matter.
I agree with the two other reviews. I needed to give them new business for my client, they seemed reluctant to help me. Someone could have taken the information from me and forwarded it to the right person, much like any major insurance company (ie. GEICO, Statefarm, Liberty mutual...) I deal with on a regular basis. The impression of a "local agency" is personalized service. This agency is anything but that.
The operator is extremely impatient and dumb
Absolutely the worst experience in working with a personal insurance agency. The people are non-responsive without multiple reminders, documents never get submitted to insurers and they never follow through when committing to act on behalf of the insured.
Absolutely outstanding service. Agents are very professional and very friendly . They do their best to accommodate their clients.
