We were leaving Canada and looking for a resort getaway somewhere abroad, and we were lucky enough to find the amazing Shoestring Resort. We spent a full week here and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The service was consistently excellent, with friendly faces and helpful assistance whenever we needed it. Stayed here for a few months after I sold my home waiting for my new home to be ready, I was disappointed with the water quality. After reading one of the past reviews I tested the water with a TDS meter it tested over 500 :0. I also had problems with the refrigerator quitting multiple times. When I notified management they told me to just use coolers and thaw the refrigerator out and try it again. I also had an electrical fire in the kitchen. At least there was a fire extinguisher there.
