I cannot believe this level of personalized service exists and my VIP treatment experience is available to everyone who selects Dr. Shmunes as their surgeon. Dr. Neil Shmunes and the office staff were nothing short of amazing. I was referred to their office by Baptist Hospital (Jax Beach) for a cornea abrasion, and upon my arrival, my eye was severely swollen. Dr. Shmunes met me with excellent care, and his positive attitude and demeanor help ease the discomfort I was in instantly. He relieved me of further pain and provided frequent follow ups to ensure my cornea was healing properly. I can’t thank Dr. Kathryn Shmunes enough for the wonderful care we received from Shmunes Vision in Ponte Vedra. She has been taking care of my husband’s Glaucoma for several years now. I went to Shmunes Vision for laser eye surgery, specifically PRK. Their entire staff from the time I walked in was very good at making me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Shmunes called me the night following my surgery to check in and see if I needed anything which made me feel valued as a patient. I just completed my 3 month post op appointment and have continued to feel comfortable and valued each time I go.
