This has been the BEST referral I could have ever stumbled across. Shmunes Vision honestly makes me want to move back to Florida just so they can always be my eye doctors. 😂🤍 I traveled all the way from Virginia for this procedure. Dr. Kathryn Performed cataract removal surgery on both of my eyes this past month and I can't say enough good things about my experience with her, her staff, and the surgery center. Scheduling, instructions, and the process all Professional and easy. She has a fabulous bedside manner (rare these days), answers all questions, and communicates Clearly & directly. Highly recommend.

Beware of this office. They told me my appointment would be covered under insurance as my yearly eye exam and I later got a bill. What a waste of time and money. I didn’t even get a Rx for my eyes. They later told me that would have been another $40.
Recently I was badly in need of an Ophthalmologist recommendation to rectify a bad surgery outcome. A friend/neighbor recommended Dr Neil Shmunes in Ponte Vedra. He and his daughter own Shmunes Vision. I could not be happier with the outcome. From loss of sight and excruciating pain due to severe corneal abrasion (medically induced) to 20/20 in less than 3 weeks. Family owned and run business still providing patient care the way it should be done. Dr Neil and Dr Kathryn likely saved my vision.
