Dr. Mandelbaum is great. He was there for me during a really dark period and gave a great deal of help. His appointments are hard to get but definitely worth the wait.
Warning: Poor Experience with Dr. Shmuel Mandelbaum My girlfriend recently switched providers after a disastrous experience with Dr. Mandelbaum. Despite being licensed in IL, he failed to renew his license due to personal issues, leaving patients vulnerable. We encountered multiple issues, including last-minute appointment cancellations without follow-up and, most alarmingly, two instances where my girlfriend was left without medication refills. READ AND AVOID THIS PSYCH. Got lumped into seeing him via telehealth after my old psych left Aurora.
