This place has been interwoven into the fabric of my Spring as an annual place to bring my son to pick strawberries since he was 2 years old. He’s 8 now and still looking forward to May for this very reason.
First, that they are in my hometown! When visiting their farm for flowers, produce, & meat, it takes me to a quiet & peaceful place, and gives me a real appreciation for all of the hard work put into farming. Took my twins to Schlage Farms for pumpkin picking and spent $40 for the 4 of us. They had a few small things for the kids to do but wasn’t worth $40 bucks. Had no idea the fee was for kids playing and taking the hay ride to the pumpkin site where all the bad pumpkins live. They have all the amazing pumpkins at the farm but bad pumpkins on the pumpkin field where your sure not to get any good pumpkins and you have to pay for your pumpkins.
