Just got my facial – I got a micro facial from Yoshika. She was very nice and professional, and the ambience was so soothing and amazing! The facial was very different from the ones I had gotten before; it did not hurt even half as much when she was removing my blackheads. Her face massage relaxed me totally. I had recently had a massage from Juvenex spa and it hurt me even after 3 days. But after Yoshika massaged my feet, hands, and shoulders, I felt so relaxed and good, and all that pain went away. Good micro facial – They really take their time, and give you a very thorough cleaning. Always asking if you are comfortable. Good products used - my face looks truly very clean!! Give it 3-4 days to settle down though - skin was irritated, and it was painful at times.

Saved my skin! – She is a miracle worker. I battled with my skin for years; dryness, breakouts, scarring, seisitivity, oily patches. You name it. As a young 20something New Yorker, my skin is constantly abused by late night partying, long hours of make-up wearing, alcohol. She made my skin so magically good you can never tell I had any skin problems before or now!! You won't breakout after extractions either, which is a miracle.

Hairless at Last – I have been going to see Shizuka, owner of Shizuka New York, for permanent hair removal. People know her as the facial guru, but not as an electrologist. She says her hair removal clients come from word of mouth and doctors referrals. Shizuka removes hair in some areas by laser and on other parts by electrolysis. It is a real art. Amazing Facial – I had an amazing facial with Shizuka the other day. I had read in NY magazine that she is the skin care Guru and wanted to find out myself. I was so excited to see her. She looked much younger than I had expected for a salon owner. Her facial was extremely thorough I never had that kind of treatment before. Best NYC Facial – I went to this place on a whim, and regret not going sooner!! I had a Micro Facial with Yoshika. The most unbelieveable facial in my life!!! She did a great job extracting my pores and I had no red marks afterwards! She is very gentle, yet gives a good massage. She made sure I was relaxed every step of the way!! A great place – I've been going to shizuka for a few years now and the service is always wonderful. The place is small so the atmosphere is left wanting however the facial and the eyelash perm are great! In both cases they are attentive and gentle. I highly recommend this place. Enjoy!!!

Great Facial! – I had a micro-facial with Yoshiko. She was so professional and attentive. I felt very relaxed and satisfied with her serivce. She gave great facials and messages on my neck, hands and feet. I highly recommend this place for any women who want to have great facials with reasonable prices.
