Crap services Very bad service, horrible first time experience. Was greeted nicely and seated . But no waiter for 20 minutes and when he came did not ask for any drinks. Took order and did not return for 20 minutes with food. When asked about the second appetizer the waiter got upset bad walked away abusing us. When asked for the manager he refused to handle the situation.
They will mistreat you .. I recently went to Shiva for lunch with my 2 year old, and had a very horrible experience! I am ashamed to say there are restaurants with such attitude... We were both very hungry and were looking to seat quickly and grab the buffet. Even though there was an empty table, they wouldn't seat me -- the reasons given were: oh well, i cannot seat you on this table your kid is going to make a mess, and main traffic goes here so i cannot give this table to you ... i was shocked at how i was treated... they... read more
Terrible, terrible Went to Shiva's Indian Restaurant last night for the first time.Very very disappointed with the service, food, and the management team.There was only one very inexperienced waiter who was serving the entire restaurant. Our entrees were served an hour later after our arrival.All in all, they do charge an arm and a leg for their food, but food, service and everything else is awful.Will never return, nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Don't go Shiva's ever Went to Shiva's but was greeted by a realy rude host - very inhospitable, poor service & bad food.
Buffet was good We just had their lunch buffet . The appetizer was aloo tiki...which was ok. The chicken oregano tikka was awesome. The saag aloo, matar paneer were all excellent The chole wsa good too. One of the chicken curries had bones. The dessert was ok.
comfortable & stylish Food was really delicious and came in large portions.And the sizzling curries were yummy.Appeizers and gravies - everything we liked.It took sometime for the food to come, but I think they made everything from scratch.If you want a good time and good Indian quality food with friends - here is the best place.
Shivas Indian Restaurant Nice decor, great location. The food is very good. Great place to have a nice dinner before a movie not really a destination restaurant but very pleasant. A few stesp above many of the other restaurants in the area.
Great variety in ther lunch buffet One of the better north Indian restaurant in the bay area.
