Excellent Mediterranean, food, and the prices are pretty good. I had passed by this place so many times before and I’ve never stopped in – so I decided to today so glad I did, I will be coming back. The food is tasty - well-prepared, and perfectly cooked. Everything is fresh, the vegetables are excellent, and the sauces are very good too. The pita is the most important thing to me, and this is as good as I’ve ever had. I will be coming back, and posting more pictures when I do .
I’ve been coming to Shishkabob house for nearly 10 years and i can honestly say that they have the BEST mediterranean food. Everything is always fresh and made to order and you literally cannot beat the prices. being able to support a local family business is also a plus! the restaurant is always clean and the service is amazing here too. Amazing flavors & portions. Spent the whole weekend eating po boys and fried seafood, in typical NOLA tourist fashion. I usually crave Mediterranean or something fresh after such a binge... Shishkabob House hit the spot. Tabbouleh was awesome, as was the chicken shawarma & gyro. Lentil soup was new to me, but it was also delicious!
