Had the most wonderful retirement party last night! It has been my honor to work alongside these folks( and others who could not make it) for the last 20 years! I will miss my co-workers and owners, Bob and Shirley Gotts and Kaylee and Alec Johnston(Bloom Room) more than I can express! I will never forget all the wonderful relationships made with the customers as well, they really became like family! Thank you all so much !
We recently had our last dinner together as the current employees of Shirleys Flower Shoppe & Greenhouses. As many of you know, the shop went up for sale over this past summer. New owners Alec and Kaylee Johnston stepped in January 1, changing the shop name to The Bloom Room. We hope you will stop in to meet them soon, and say hi to the many familiar faces that are still designing flowers for you.
