I went in for injections into my SIJ and one side was quite painful, a lot more than I was expecting. I’ve spent time in several different imaging places and medical offices over the past 16 months and the staff I dealt with yesterday were by far the best I’ve dealt with in imaging services. My endocrinologist referred me for a bone density scan that is bulk-billable for my diagnosis. Reception didn’t understand the Medicare criteria and wrongly said it wasn’t covered. After wasting 1hr in the waiting room, I went to I-MED Pathology Miranda. They recognised the clinical notes immediately as satisfying the criteria, and processed it without issue. Prepare to be out of pocket when coming here. Even with a detailed Specialist’s referral and approved MBS item number.
Don't waste your time on the phone trying to book an appointment like me. The only good advice I have is READ the reviews during the VERY VERY LONG time you will spend on hold before you even speak to anyone. Big thanks to everyone who wrote the reviews to save more of my time.
