Dr. Varon provided excellent care before, after, and during my open myomectomy / fibroid removal surgery. At every juncture of the process I was impressed with her commitment to listening to what I needed and providing options without pushing me in any one direction. Dr. Varon and her staff were excellent. I had a large fibroid for many years. Dr. Varon discussed my options, answered all of my questions, and explained the procedure in detail. Post-surgical care was excellent. Dr. Varon removed my fibroid laparoscopically which was not an option given to me in the past. I am extremely pleased with the results.
First off Dr. Varon is AMAZING! I had been dealing with fibroids for many years and I finally decided to get them removed. I was really afraid going into this process because I had experiences with other Ob/Gyns that were not kind or compassionate. Dr. Varon was an excellent surgeon. She provided exceptional services from start to finish. During our first meeting she made me feel extremely comfortable. She explained my condition in detail. After finding out I had a decent size fibroid in my uterine wall, I consulted with Dr. Varon. She took her time and explained the type of fibroid i had and my many options. I had so much pain during my periods and very heavy menstration and bloating but i was also nervous about surgery. I'm so glad I went ahead and did the surgery with Dr. Varon.
