Hurricane Michael gave us a good excuse to update our decor and we are back open for business. What better place than St. Joe Beach to be Shipwrecked. Luckily, the Galley is intact and the Ship's Cooks are preparing The Best Oysters, Seafood, Steaks and Breakfast on the Planet with a variety of Wine & Ice Cold Beer to quench your Castaway thirst. Rescue efforts take place seven days a week.

We absolutely love this restaurant! We have never had a bad experience at Shipwreck and we eat there on a frequent basis. We so appreciate the consistent great service, great food and great prices.
First time we have been here and we were impressed. We had oysters which were clean and delicious. For our dinner we had the crab legs. The waitress was from Michigan. She kept us in drinks and food. Great job.
The food was good but the 30 minute wait for a seat at the bar? We put in our order there and received our drinks, then after listening to the “Loud Chicks” we felt Bally gave up and I asked to be seated at one of several tables that had come available. Fine no problem! So we have an hour now and then another half hour goes by and the waitress would not refresh our drinks, she had the bartender come do it. He was ok. Finally an hour and a half in, we get our food. It was good but not worth the wait. Don’t go there on a Satur... read more
Best price on crab legs anywhere on the beach! All was great except the screaming kid.
Great Appalaciacola oysters and other menu items, but without Josh, our shucker, it is really lacking something......
It was awesome! The oysters were great, the shrimp, fish, stuffed mushrooms with crab meat were the best ever! Service couldn’t be any better! Our new place to eat! ❤️
Waited 30 minutes to be seated with numerous tables empty. After being seated, we were told that they had no oysters. How does a restaurant with Raw Bar as part of their name do that?? Having oysters was our reason for going there. After waiting an hour for our orders, they were incorrect. When speaking to the owner, he stated the problem was that they had gotten “slammed”. I call BS to that since the place was only half full. It was a terrible experience go New Years Eve.
We were there Christmas Eve, I disagree with my husband. He was disappointed there was no fried food, I was thrilled. I’m from CT so I’m not a huge fried food fan. The selection was great, I had two different type of crab, delicious! I can’t wait to go back to try something else. I enjoyed the decorating, wait staff dressed festively and the Christmas music!
Had the shrimp and grits, and loved it! The spicy shrimp app with Tupelo Honey was great. Looking forward to going back. The only reason I gave just 4 stars is because I enjoy fried sea food and it’s not offered here. But if you like oysters or crab, this is the place for you!
