About this business

Hurricane Michael gave us a good excuse to update our decor and we are back open for business. What better place than St. Joe Beach to be Shipwrecked. Luckily, the Galley is intact and the Ship's Cooks are preparing The Best Oysters, Seafood, Steaks and Breakfast on the Planet with a variety of Wine & Ice Cold Beer to quench your Castaway thirst. Rescue efforts take place seven days a week.

Great spot. Sat outside for sunset, got a dozen raw oysters and a dozen baked three different ways and steamed shrimp and half price beers. Dog friendly and brought a water bowl out for my boy.

Love having a breakfast spot close that is dine in, clean and friendly. They were closed a couple days for deep deep cleaning, which is a plus in this current environment. Glad they are back. Many places closed in the off season.

Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon as we drove through town. The fried shrimp basket and cheese grits were very tasty. Grilled Mahi-mahi "taco" was ok, but very no frills and the second taco had only a small piece of fish. Overall, average. What really bothered me was the Hostess wasn't wearing a mask. And others, who wore them, wore them incorrectly. They had multi-use menus, which is very unsanitary, and I had to find hand sanitizer after I used it. I am all for businesses being open, but they need to play by the new norma... read more

First time oyster taster. We love them and will be trying them again soon! We enjoyed our patio table and the happy hour made our day! Great server 😃

We have always enjoyed the food and service here. Seeing their post about staying in phase 2 with mask and table spacing and with the tables outside, we decided to meet up with friends this morning for outdoor brunch. We had to wait at least five minutes inside the door until a waitress informed us they no longer seat outside! What!? Thanks anyway shipwreck.

Business response:

Sorry to disappoint you. We use the outside as a waiting area. Our inside seating is social distanced. We don’t have the kitchen capacity or wait staff to serve additional tables on the outside
