I was very disappointed in this location. It was very disheartening to see all of the poor hermit crabs being kept in painted toxic shells on plastic with no substrate to dig in. Hermit crabs need to dig and they had nothing. Unacceptable. Those babies deserve better. Do better.
I went to Shipwrecked twice in one week and left frustrated both times. The first visit was just 15 minutes before closing to quickly grab a boogie board. Instead of a normal last-call reminder, the staff (a group of teens) announced every single minute: “We will be closing in 15 minutes… 14 minutes…” until it got down to the last few minutes.
