The Ships Chandler began in 1979 after my dad retired from a great career in the USAF and started a commercial fishing company that needed fishing tackle and supplies. The name, The Ships Chandler, made sense since a ship's chandler in the old days was a person who provided supplies, provisions, cargo and crew to the boats. RecommendedI would like to personally thank the staff at Ships Chandlers for the getting my boat in this week for service. The service was done quick, and professional. Items performed were 100 hour service, replaced amp, new 4- blade prop, power pole repair, several other small items.

Had them install a Minn Kota Terrova Ipilot, three optima batteries, charger, quick disconnect and some other odds and ends, I have to say the install turned out very clean, very satisfied with the work, can't wait to try this baby out, AND my boat came back to me MUCh cleaner that I brought it in after having been sitting up for the winter. Great job guys !

Me and my son stopped in today to check out some fishing gear where we meet one of the employee's, Joe. Joe was super helpful to my son who is learning to fish in saltwater. He was patient with us as we had lots of questions. We bought a few things and headed to a super fun fishing spot. We found a great variety of fishing gear in this shop and we will be back. Might I add we were asked by 3 different people in a matter of 10 minutes if we needed help. Great customer service!
