By far the worst Landlords I’ve had in my whole life! They are liars! Do not use this company! I lived there 10 years only cause I was to broke for something better. However they took away the laundry room so if you need laundry done. You’re probably going to the laundry mat. They take forever to fix things and when they do it’s a bandaid. I will be taking steps to sue them based on them trying to charge me over $1100.00 for paint after I moved out! Not counting the $900 for carpet. We rented a house in McPherson Village from Shipman for 3 years and we couldn’t have been happier with the home. I really don't get where the negative reviews are coming from. They are easy to work with and maintenance was always responsive whenever we had issues. Melissa was great to work with, she is super nice and was always happy to help us and answer questions. Great company but with Melissa Mosely as a property manager it makes the business look bad. Video proof of unit not being damaged but she refused to return deposit and added adtl. charges to override deposit amount. Now we owe more than amount of deposit. Lawyer advised me to keep all video evidence for court appearance. I strongly suggest you to record all conversations and video proof for future incidents. I wish I had evidence of her rudeness and deceit. Please be careful when dealing with her.
Pretty sure this is going to make a good case should we decide to take you out of court since you refuse to come and fix an active leak on a water heater bad water heater where is Waters continuously flowing. As our courtesy to help we've installed a hose to allow it to drain but as you can see it is just inches away from electrical which could cause death. My husband and I have been renting with them for a little over a year. Every time we have an issue, the response is pretty quick and they have replaced everything we've asked. The neighborhood is quiet and we really have no complaints.
