Used shipsmart to move a very nice table and four tall back chairs from Hermosa Beach CA to Fort Worth TX. The cost was reasonable, and everything came as expected with no damage. Much better than anything I was quoted from the big cross-state movers.

We had some pieces that were left to us by our mother who recently passed away. We were out of state and some of the pieces were heirlooms. We had no way to transport them and this company was referred to us by a moving company as it was a small load. It is a hard time when a family member is gone and they made it easier on us. I had a very sub-par experience with this company. The communication is horrible and they move extremely slow. I was charged almost $2,000 more than the original estimate and was told by one of the operators (Emily) that this was my fault. Thankfully, I spoke with the first empathetic and professional in the company (Ana Mayer). She was very nice and completely understood where I was coming from. Absolutely horrible. Terrible at communication, they were over an hour late for pickup, when I called the 1-800 number to find out what was taking so long the lady was super rude as well. I'd look elsewhere if you need something moved. Plenty of better compl
