Wanted to support this restaurant as I had good experiences at its former location. I expected it to be takeout only, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it is now open for seated dining. Will be back to enjoy some Singaporean favorites!
“Shiok” means delicious and deeply satisfying in Singaporean slang — and Shiok! Singapore Kitchen truly lives up to its name. This beloved Menlo Park restaurant has finally reopened in a beautiful new location on Oak Grove Avenue, close to the downtown Menlo Park post office. For me, this place has the most authentic Singaporean cuisine in the Bay Area. Caringly prepared and reasonably priced. I look forward to eating there regularly.
Like Panda Express: if you don’t think of it as Singaporean food, the food indeed tastes good. If you think it is Singaporean food and have been to Singapore, prepare to be dismayed. Ordered Hokkien Mee.
