There are better Singaporean/malay food in the bay area unfortunately. $3 extra for chicken flavored rice that normally goes with hainanese chicken rice but it doesn't even taste that good it feels like bouillon powder flavor not from chicken itself. The chicken itself didn't have much flavor - ginger scallion sauce underwhelming, chili sauce too vinegary not spicy enough and the darkened soy was way too salty. We went to this lovely restaurant on a Saturday evening with a few friends. We gorged on the delicious food that this small quaint place offered. Their service was too notch, very friendly and courteous. I loved the clay salmon dish, the chicken curry, the Assam aubergine and the noodles. Wasn't a big fan of the crispy cereal shrimps as they were a little sweet for my taste. Overall, I am going back to try some of the other things in thee I.
