Has gone downhill The proprietors of this salon are very nice. I came here for many years because I felt valued as a customer. They now have a great deal of turnover and I was getting a different tech each time I went in. I was concerned that acrylic was harming my nails so I switched to gel. I then learned that, perhaps due to a language barrier, I was STILL getting acrylic, only coated with gel. I have now switched salons. Quick and cheap. Unfortunately I've never gotten my nails done at Shiny Nails BUT I have gotten my eyebrows waxed numerous times and I MUST say they are the best place I have ever been to. For only $8 (plus tip) I'm in and out in less than 15 minutes (no appointment) and my eyebrows look perfect. It's run by Asians and English is definately not their first language but I think it works to thier benefit because they are quick and to the point when servicing their customers without a lot of meaningless chatter.
