The owners are great. The food is tasty and fresh. Highly recommend you eat at Shinsei Sushi.
Today at 1:30 I sat at the sushi bar, and after about 10 minutes one of the sushi chefs asked me what I would like, and I requested a rainbow roll. As he began to prepare it, suddenly a manager spoke to me harshly, and she said that I was not following Shensei's procedures by seating myself at the sushi bar. I have been in hundreds of sushi restaurants around the world, and have never encountered this situation before. I love this place! Kid friendly and always helpful. Greated first thing in the door. Best sushi I think I have ever had. Pilot butte roll is always awesome.
Amazing food! The only place in bend I'll go to for sushi. Wonderful and friendly service.
