Not a good experience. No complaints about the service, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the salmon box for around $22. What I got was a tiny piece of salmon — literally a few bites — with some salad and rice that looked and tasted like a $5 premade grocery-store mix. For $22, I expected a much better portion and overall quality. Unfortunately, the food was definitely not worth the price.
Dinning at Shinmai is a culinary experience nestled in a beautiful town of Cary, NC. The restaurant provides a beautiful setting and cozy atmosphere with intimate seating. You are greeted by warmly, and friendly people who are very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The menu is fun and unique, providing small bites or bigger dishes for you to enjoy. The okonomiaki was delicious, as well as the potato croquette and bao buns. Seriously everything we ate was delicious and I wish I lived closer to come back again!
日本のラーメンを期待して訪れたところ、満足はできませんでした。 麺は細く柔らかく、スープは単調で独特の風味がついています。 日本のラーメンとは全く異なりますが、違う食べ物として食べればおいしいのかもしれません。 お好み焼きは、薄く、水分が多くてぺちゃっとしていました。 しかし店員さんは非常に優しく、とても気配りしてくれました。店内は清潔感があり、雰囲気も良いです。そのため、ラーメン以外のメニューを試すために、またいつか行きたいです。
Lovely vibe, lovely staff, outstanding food! Perfect place for my birthday meal! I got Takoyaki, Udon Carbonara with Salmon, and a raindrop for dessert. Wouldn't change a thing! ✨️
